Shri Piyush Goel has carved a distinctive place in the literary and creative world through his extraordinary approach to handwritten books. Born on 10 February 1967 into a middle-class family, he is the son of Ravikanta Goel and Dr. Devendra Goyal. A mechanical engineer by qualification, he has accumulated nearly 30 years of professional experience, while simultaneously pursuing his passion for literature and innovation in writing.
What sets Piyush Goel apart is the unconventional manner in which he creates his books. He has handwritten 19 books using unique tools, including a needle, carbon paper, mehendi cone, fluid pen, fabric cone liner, and even an iron nail. His experimental style of writing has gained national and international recognition. One of his most remarkable achievements came when he wrote the famous literary work Madhushala using a needle, an accomplishment that earned him a World Record from the World Record Association.
His dedication to literature is further reflected in the fact that 13 of his books have already been published, while three of his works are preserved at the prestigious Vrindavan Research Institute, highlighting their cultural and literary significance. Currently, he is working on his 20th book, in which he is writing Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s epic book Rash marathi in mirror image using coloured pencils another example of his experimental creativity.
Over the years, his work has been recognised with several honours, including two entries in the Limca Book of Recordsand numerous national awards.
Beyond literature, he is also active as a regional cricket umpire, researcher in mathematics with published papers, and a motivational speaker who has inspired more than 10,000 students through free motivational sessions.
